Small Family run restaurant. You might think of it as a hole in the wall but this place is seriously a hidden gem in Winnipeg. They have some of the best Chinese/Vietnamese dishes. You can tell the food is good and has authentic Asian cuisine when the place gets filled with other Asians. I came at a good time because the place started filling up right after and the kitchen staff had to come and help serve. They defiantly have a team dynamic going on and they are all very friendly. I always get the fish maw soup, it's my top place for this dish. The area may seem a bit rough but don't let that deter you from trying this place out, they have many loyal returning guests.

I decided to eat here as it is close to work & as it had a 4.6/5 rating. I was expecting a great meal as I read all of these awesome reviews online, but unfortunately I was very unimpressed with my meal. All I ordered was combo A which is a meal for one with sweet & sour chicken balls, fried rice & an egg roll. The fried rice was ok but there were hard chunks of dry meat in it. The sweet & sour sauce had little flavour & the chicken balls were made of dark meat, they also were quite dry & hard to chew. Usually chicken balls are made with white meat, so I was disappointed with this. The meat was less than I expected in the chicken balls & the coating was very thick, so thick that if you cut one in half there was only meat on one side.
Maybe it is the specialty meals that they cook well, but any half decent Chinese food restaurant should be able to make this meal tasty‼ Not sure if I will return⁉

Oh god... I believe this tops in my list of the worst restaurants to dine in. Especially when you arrive during buffet days... The decor has little contribution to your tastebuds. The food negh regular Chinese... It's just blain and boring. No unique dishe at all... Chow mein.. Boring sorry it just that bad here!
